🌏 A Proud Moment for Gully Classes Foundation
- On March 16, 2025, Gully Classes Foundation had the incredible opportunity to represent India at the Green Life Food Festa held in Kyoto, Japan . This event, organized by the passionate youth of Japan, is a unique celebration of organic living, natural products, and cultural exchange. With the theme “You Are What You Choose,” the festival aimed to inspire people to make conscious, holistic choices for a better world. For us, being part of this event was more than an exhibition—it was a proud moment to share our vision, values, and creativity with an international audience.
🎨 Showcasing Our Resin Art Creations
At our booth, we displayed a collection of handcrafted resin art products, made by the women and youth from our foundation. The collection included rings, bracelets, necklaces, and keychains, each piece reflecting not only artistic beauty but also the empowering story behind its creation. Every product is made with care, love, and the spirit of sustainability. Visitors from Japan and beyond admired our designs, and it was heartwarming to see the appreciation for Indian handmade work. The event gave us a meaningful platform to introduce our work to people who value creativity, culture, and community development.

🤝 Made Possible by Shumei India Foundation
Our journey to Kyoto was made possible thanks to the strong support and coordination of Shumei India, a Japan-based organization that deeply values community-driven initiatives. Earlier this year, during the Shumei India Anniversary in January, we connected with many Japanese youth and shared our mission and dreams. That connection led to this international invitation, and we are sincerely grateful to Shumei India for believing in us and helping us reach a global platform. Their role in bridging cultures and creating opportunities for grassroots organizations is truly commendable.
🇮🇳 A Collective Representation of Indian NGOs
Gully Classes Foundation was not alone. We were joined by three other amazing Indian NGOs—Buy Food With Plastic India, Junoon Foundation, and Waghoba Habitat Foundation—each showcasing their own unique products. From potted plants and natural seed sets to handcrafted book covers and natural forest oils, the Indian booth was a vibrant display of sustainability, creativity, and purpose. It was an honor to represent India collectively and introduce Japanese visitors to the impactful work being done by our fellow organizations.

🌟 An Experience to Cherish
Participating in the Green Life Food Festa was not just about selling products—it was about sharing stories, forming global friendships, and inspiring one another. It reminded us that no effort is too small when it comes to creating positive change. We return to India feeling inspired, appreciated, and more determined than ever to continue our work in education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. This experience has encouraged us to dream bigger and to believe tha t our efforts can resonate far beyond our communities.
